#15885 new defect
Proposed Memory for openSUSE Linux installs is too small

Description ¶
Current openSUSE Memory requirements are 1GB of ram while Virtual box currently proposes 768mb so this number should be increased.
As openSUSE enables its own filesystem snapshots with btrfs users may also run into issues on the 8GB default hard drive size as well.
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
This setting was increased to 1GB in VBox 5.1.x. Increasing the default hard disk size to beyond 8GB makes sense as well but we will not do this before we have more fine-granular guest OS types because it does not make sense to raise the default RAM / hard disk size for older Linux distributions (which work very well with the current values).
