Description
I am using a windows 7 host, and Arch guest. Both are 64bit.
The guest has two CPU and 5Gb ram allocated to it.
Prior to version 5.1.2 of VirtualBox, sound worked flawlessly. Since 5.1.2, sound does not start up when I try to play music with Amarok or Juk.
However, if I open the system settings and play the system sound Amarok plays flawlessly.
Downgrading to a version of virtualbox lower than 5.1.2 the sound also works flawlessly.
I am happy to do troubleshooting, but may not be able to reply straight away. If you require more information, please do not hesitate to ask, and I will do my best to provide it.
Is there any point in attaching a vbox logfile to this ticket? The guest does not crash?
I have attached a screenshot of the output of pulseaudio when not run as a daemon
Kind regards, Evert Vorster
