Linux Guest is aborting after some time of inactivity (when afk)

Description

I can start up and work with the guest system (Linux mint xcfe 18 64 bit), but after a while (when I am away from keyboard) the VM aborts.

This Ticket can be closed. I solved the problem by deactivating the 3d graphics acceleration in Virtualbox.

We would be still interested in a proper fix. If you could reproduce the problem and provide a core dump together with the corresponding VBox.log file that would be very helpful.
