Description
At version 5.1-5.1.4, the UI in VirtualBox Manager seriously degraded in both text clarity and coloring. At version 5.1-5.1.2, there were no issues but at 5.1-5.1.4 through -5.1.8, the problem is present. All versions mentioned were tested on a fully updated CentOS 7 install. VirtualBox 5.2.8 shown with with corrupted fonts and coloring
comment:1 by , 7 years ago
This problem has returned with VirtualBox 5.2. With vbox 5.1.34 on an Ubuntu 16.04 LTS system, the fonts and coloring of the VirtualBox manager are as expected. With vbox 5.2.8, the distortion and incorrect coloring have returned.
Window snaps are attached. In both cases, Virtual Box is installed from the packages provided at,
http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian
I simply do "apt install virtualbox-5.2" or "apt install virtualbox-5.1"
All other aspects of the system remain unchanged while toggling between Vbox versions and collecting the screen snaps.
