Description
Hi,
A GTK frontend for Virtualbox is being developed by someone in the Gentoo forums, as you can see here: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-689864-postdays-0-postorder-asc-start-0.html
The project is shaping up pretty nice but there are features he simply lacks the time to work on. Would some Virtualbox developer be interested to collaborate?
Althoght the project itself is stable and can be used, you can see some mockups here.

And note that Qt4 (future versions of VirtualBox will link against Qt4) is able to use Gtk engines native, see http://labs.trolltech.com/blogs/2008/05/13/introducing-qgtkstyle/

The VirtualBox Qt GUI is very good, and unlikely to get any better by porting to GTK.
I would close this as wontfix.

The first step to improve this frontend is to use the SDK not !VBoxManage. See the source code of !VBoxManage on how to use the SDK.
