Kubuntu guest rendering errors with 3D acceleration enabled

Description
I'm running a Kubuntu 16.10 (64-bit) guest on VBox 5.1.12, host OS Windows 10 64-bit. As long as 3D acceleration is disabled, everything is fine. After enabling 3D acceleration the KDE toolbar disappears, and there are some artifacts on the screen.
Guest additions were installed
