Gnome3 hung up becase of Virtual box segmentation fault

[Yomo]

Suddenly gnome X-session was hung up under using VirtualBox. At that time it was logged below segmentation fault messages in syslog.

I rebooted machine so that it was impossible to re-start gdm3 using ssh (Hung up)

About similar problem with Ubuntu 14.04 & Virtualbox 5.1.30 & W10 client. After coming back to console W10 client left open (as detachable started GUI topmost, was left alone ~1 day), guest (or Unity deskptop) was freezed. I CTRL-ALT-F1 to terminal and saved VM by vboxmanage controlvm W10 savestate. Savestate went to finish and after that dmesg logs this (no segfault before savestate):

Same problem with VB 6.0.8. Linux OpenSuSE Leap 15.1 host Windows 10 guest. Has happened a number of times overnight with the system idle. The guest is unresponsive with two CPUs running at 100%.

I was mistaken, this host was still at Leap 42.3. I have now upgraded to Leap 15.0 and it has not yet reoccurred, but it was somewhat infrequent. If it does, I will try for a stack trace. When I killed the X server, it did generate a coredump which I did not keep, but I can save the next one if that would help.

I would prefer if you could get the stack trace, and of the VirtualBoxVM process (you may need to enable setuid process core dumps). Core dumps are good for debugging on the system they were generated on, but extremely painful if you don't have access to that system.
