It's usually better and faster, if problems like this one (configuration, question) get first addressed in the forums (https://forums.virtualbox.org/). More than 95% of the issues are resolved over there, which keeps the developers focusing on the bug fixes and enhancements, and there is no need for another ticket to keep track of. For example, yours is most probably not a bug and someone from the developers has to deal with it and close it as "Invalid".

So, if you can, please open a new thread in the VirtualBox on Linux Hosts section of the forums.

Thank you!

Sorry!

I have figured out the problem. I had to add the current user to the vboxusers group. After reboot all the devices appeared!

We are expericneing the same problems on Windows 10 with build 5.1.14 , rolled back to 5.1.12 and the USB devices appear inside the VBox machine and also on the filter list in setting. When in 5.1.14 they don;t show up on filter list or in device list in VM. Doesn't matter in USB V1, V2, V3 is selected

@mad4x4
Please re-read my comment, above the "I solved it" comment by "cre8".

To begin with you don't even have a Linux host, which makes it a completely different problem. So, please open a new thread in the VirtualBox on Windows Hosts section and let us discuss it there.
