Description
Hi, never opened a bug ticket so far so I hope I will be clear.
I use virtualbox everywhere (i'm a big fan) so I have VB on windows10,Linux (manjaro), macOS Sierra and Yosemite.
ONLY on macos Sierra (tested on multiple devices) the windows 10 and Linux guests UI/mouse lags bad! The only way to make thing better is to disable mouse integration, but than the pointer is no longer accurate and you loose this feature.
I have tried all the possible options available. I have now updated to version 5.1.16 and still no luck :(
I know there were some changes in the "logic" of the mouse in sierra (could no longer scroll line by line for ex.) but that is now fixed.
I hope maybe someone has the time to look a little at the issue.
If I can help in any way please let me know! As it is now, it is VERY hard to use VB on macOS :(
Thank you very much!

Well, actually I have search since 3 VB versions ago on a lot of forums but nowhere was even mentioned that it applies to macOS sierra only, that if you disable mouse integration it is much better, etc.
Sorry for posting, but i have really search for information's before this! (indeed, not in the last weeks..)

It's OK, no problem, no harm done ;) But so far the consensus seems to be that it might be a 10.12.x problem, or a Retina problem, or a mouse lagging problem. Check out the ticket for more and please post your setup there...

Thank you socratis. I am convinced it is a macos issue, they broke something (as usual) but was hoping VB can "adapt" to the new changes or something can be done because waiting for apple to fix problems is like waiting at home to get rich :)

It may very well be an Apple issue. But if VirtualBox developers don't have enough "data points", they're not going to be able to work around it. So, please follow Frank's advice (comment 4):

Actually you shouldn't have opened this one either ;). You just happened to be in the middle actually of a big discussion about this on ticket #16436: "windows drag and resize slowly, up to several seconds behind mouse. performance otherwise is fine". You should definitely read the comments/attempts and then participate in the ongoing tests/debugging efforts.
