5.1.16 Guest Additions render CentOS7 VM unusable

Description
After upgrading to 5.1.16 from 5.1.12, CentOS 7 fails to boot due to failure to load SELinux Policy. Attempted (as root) 'yum reinstall selinux-targeted-policy' after GRUB coercion to boot without SELinux loaded. Also tried (as root) 'touch /.autorelabel'. Reboot successfully updated SELinux, however subsequent reboots fail on original issue.

Installation works flawlessly when no guest additions are present in CentOS 7.
