Description
- Host: OSX 10.9.5
- Guest: Any.
The setting for the 2D acceleration is disabled/greyed out. You can't enable or disable it, it's stuck to the previous value (from 5.1.18 I mean). Or if you know your way, you can edit the .vbox file.

Confirmed as fixed with build >= 114629.

Actually it's the same problem as #16665. Before 2D/3D VM setting can be enabled, some code is executed to check if 2D/3D is actually available. If that code fails for some reason, the result is what you observed (2D cannot be enabled; if 3D is enabled, the VM will not start).
