Description
I currently try different live ISO images. To change the image, in the VM settings I have to select the page "mass storage" and the port every time. It would be very nice to have the settings dialog open with the same view as it was when the settings were saved (in this case page "mass storage" and the optical drive port).
Of course, other times the requirements could be different, so for different pages the opened tab (for example, page "network", tab "adapter 2") should also be saved.
There might be an easy way out for you. With the VM selected, in the right part (Details), you can click on the "Storage" heading. That will open the settings in the "Storage settings" view.
Even easier, in the same Details pane in the manager, you can click on the ISO name itself (yes, it's clickable) and select a different ISO without even launching the VM settings. That last trick you can also use it if you click on the "CD icon" in the VM window.
Of course this is a workaround for your original annoyance only.
