Description (last modified by )
After updating the guest additions to 5.1.28 on a Windows 10 guest, I am getting errors with RDP clients - "Remote Desktop Connection has stopped working". Worked with 5.1.26, works on non-VirtualBox systems, and works if I remove the guest additions.
I get the following error logged:

This has not been an issue with VB 5.2.0 and the 5.2.1 Guest Additions.
You can close this ticket as fixed.

Thanks for the update.
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
See:
17082: defect: No more elevated rights after install of Guest Additions 5.1.28 on Windows, and
17084: defect: RCDMan, others failing in VBoxOGLpackspu.dll
The workarounds are to disable 3D Acceleration in the VM or revert to the 5.1.26 Guest Additions. (I was unable to do the second one because the bug stops you from running things with elevated privilege.)
Good luck!
