VirtualBox Guest Additions 5.1.28 break UAC on Windows 10 guests

Hi,

I saw that virtual box guest additions 5.1.28 break UAC on Windows 10 Guests with error message "inconsistent extended attributes" error message.

Uninstalling the GA fixes the issue. Issue was not present in 5.1.26 as well, so the regression has been introduced in 5.1.28.

System configuration : Debian GNU/Linux 9 AMD64 Intel Core i7 4790 32 GB RAM NVidia GeForce 1070 w/ driver 375.82 (NVidia Blob)

Guest : Windows 10 x64 3D support enabled with 3D support flickering fix : ​https://techblog.devlat.eu/virtualbox-patches/ 4 GB RAM 250 GB storage

Reproducibility : always.

Note : I installed Microsoft EMET 5.5 as well, and Windows version is 1703.

Thanks for the report. The issue already is known to us and we're working on a solution. If you require installing Guest Additions 5.1.28 then 3D must be disabled for this VM to work around this.

This problem have already been fixed (see comment:14:ticket:17082). Please note, that only Guest Additions should be upgraded.
