Not able to install 64 bit OS in VirtualBox

Hi Team,
Need your immediate helo here as I amn stucked into savier issue. I am using 64 bit windows 8.1 and installed Virtual Box on it. But Inside VM I am not able to load 64 bit OS (trying to install 64 bit ubntu server edition). Its not showing a single 64 bit option there. Please help with this issue on priority. Please let me know if any further information required.

Is hardware assisted virtualization (also called VT-x for Intel or SVM for AMD) enabled in your BIOS? Otherwise you won't be able to run 64bit guests in a VM. You can create a simple 32bit guest VM it and get the VBox.log from there so we know what CPU model you use.
Btw. this is most likely a configuration issue which should be handled in https://forums.virtualbox.org first so we can keep the bug tracker for real bugs. There you can get help from many more people too. I'll close this ticket for now in case this turns out to be not a configuration issue but a real bug you can reopen the ticket.
