Description
I've installed Ubuntu 17.10 and VirtualBox 5.2.2 r119230 (Qt5.9.1) when I star run Windows 7 Ultimate as guest, the windows taskbar is not visible in seamless mode

Same problem described in tickets 17337 and Same as ticket 17304. Still broken in Test build Version 5.2.3 r119337 (Qt5.6.1)

What happens when you press the WindowsKey? It still stays hidden?
May I suggest something? It's usually better and faster, if issues like this one (configuration, question) get first addressed in the VirtualBox forums. More than 95% of the issues are resolved over there, which keeps the developers focusing on the bug fixes and enhancements, and there is no need for another ticket to keep track of.
So, if you can, please open a new thread in the Windows Guests section of the forums. Please be sure to mention that you came from the bug tracker and include the ticket number.
