Received a "VirtualBox Manager has stopped working" error when I click on import appliance or "New"

Description
I'm receiving an error whenever I click on Import Appliance or "New". I downloaded the Kali Linux for windows ova file and tried to import it using VirtualBox but I received an error that says "VirtualBox Manager has stopped working". Not sure why this is happening, I tried uninstalling virtualbox and reinstalling a few times but it didn't help.
