Description
After upgrading to 5.2.10 r122088, i've been able to start my VMs seamlessy as usual, until I tried to restore some snapshots. The restored VMs don't start, I get instead this error message:
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine NAMEOFVM. The VM session was aborted. Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005) Component: SessionMachine Interface: ISession {7844aa05-b02e-4cdd-a04f-ade4a762e6b7}
On the second attempt to run it, the VMs to start fine. Until I revert snapshot again, then I seen the error on every first attempt to start it.

I'm also running into the exact same issue. I downloaded the latest test build for Linux 64bit (https://www.virtualbox.org/download/testcase/VirtualBox-5.2.11-122245-Linux_amd64.run) and can confirm that restoring the virtual machine now works.
Thanks for the suggestion Socrates.
Can you please try the latest test build from wiki:Testbuilds ?
There was a fix regarding saved-states restoration. Can you check if it works in your case?
