Description
Hello. I just installed VirtualBox on Windows 8.1, in order to install Kali Linux, however I keep getting the warning "A critical error has occured while running the virtual machine and the machine execution has been stopped.". What should I do? Thank you in advance.

Replying to Nyctivoe:
What should I do?
Well the first thing you should have done is to open a thread to the forums. It's usually better and faster, if issues get first addressed in the VirtualBox forums. More than 95% of the issues are resolved over there, which keeps the developers focusing on the bug fixes and enhancements, and there is no need for another ticket to keep track of. For example, yours is not a bug and someone from the developers has to deal with it and close it as "Invalid".

This is the Guru Meditation that you're getting.
00:00:03.224801 HM: HMR3Init: Falling back to raw-mode: VT-x is not available
And this is why you're getting it; you don't have VT-x available.
Unfortunately, your Intel Pentium B960 does not support VT-x. So, chances are that you can't run this VM. Your best bet would be to try something from the 4.3.x series, or the 5.0.x series, or the 5.1.x series. The higher the VirtualBox version, the more dependent it is on the existence of VT-x, as the "raw mode" (mentioned above) tends to get phased out.
