animations and mouse movement flicker [OS/2 guest]

Description
On OS/2 guests animations on the desktop flicker. E.g. the mouse pointer is flickering while you move it. Same as the full window drag.
This occurs with and without guest additions, in windows as well as in fullscreen mode.
For testcase I installed Linux Mint on the same maschine and same vbox environement. There the mouse moves very smooth without flickering.
