Description
On Mojave, I've reproduced an immediate and reproducible abort every time I insert the guest additions CD. The work-around seems to be to insert the CD-ROM at the bootloader stage and then boot the operating system. Then I can both mount and read it.
The guest OS details: Slackware 14.2 64-bit. 1 CPU 6GB RAM 52MB hard disk A, AP, D, N, L, K disk sets selected.

No follow up from the reporter and no logs provided, closing. Please reopen if still an issue with the most recent VirtualBox release and attach at least a VBox.log of the affected VM.
