Description

Howdy,

I just upgraded VB to this level: VirtualBox-6.0.97-131601-Linux_amd64.run but VB still doesn't list the .iso image clonezilla-live-20160210-wily-amd64.iso.

Am I missing something here?

Thanks,

George...

Here's what the file command says about this image:

file clonezilla-live-20160210-wily-amd64.iso clonezilla-live-20160210-wily-amd64.iso: DOS/MBR boot sector; partition 2 : ID=0xef, start-CHS (0x3ff,254,63), end-CHS (0x3ff,254,63), startsector 427660, 14988 sectors

  1. It's usually better and faster, if issues get first addressed in the VirtualBox forums, a lot more eyes there. More than 95% of the issues are resolved in the forums, which keeps the developers focusing on the bug fixes and enhancements, and there is no need for another ticket to keep track of. For example, yours is most probably not a bug and someone from the developers has to deal with it and close it as "Invalid".

Plus a discussion and analysis on the bug tracker is going to help me, you, and potentially a future drive-by user or two. Not so in the forums, many more tend to benefit. So, open a new thread in the Using VirtualBox section of the forums. Please be sure to mention that you came from the bug tracker and include the ticket number.

  1. Please don't open tickets for the Development Builds, it's clearly stated in the download page:

Please report development build problems on IRC or the developer mailing list, not on the bug tracker.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
