Is your single sentence report supposed to help the developers reproduce and fix the potential issue?
How about listing the step-by-step instructions of reproducing what you are seeing? Details!!!

This behaviour is documented (https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch08.html#vboxmanage-sharedfolder):
-transient: Specifies that the share is transient, meaning that it can be added and removed at runtime and does not persist after the VM has stopped. Optional.
Therefore it is probably considered normal. That's why I marked this ticket "enhancement" and not "defect". I imagine that developers will have no difficulty in reproducing a behaviour they have voluntarily chosen.
