Replying to Poil22:
XFCE from this PPA : https://launchpad.net/~xubuntu-dev/+archive/ubuntu/staging
Then you need to take it with them. That's called a distro-fork.

Same problem here with:
- Debian Buster
- xfce4 4.12.5
- Virtualbox 6.1.26
- Guest Additions installed
Switching from VMSVGA to VBoxSVGA solved the problem.

Hi larsen0815,
Thank you for the log. I see that you have assigned quite small amount of VRAM (12 MB) to graphics adapter. Do you still see the issue if you increase it (say, to maximum)?

Thanks for giving it a try. I am closing the ticket.
Sorry, the problem does not seems to be only with XFCE 4.14, when rollbacking my VM I have the same problem, so it's look like to be a problem with Guest Addition 6.10. (I was in 6.8 previously) Switching to latest 6.11 virtualbox build does not fix the problem. Changing the driver to vboxsvga fix the problem.
