Appdata folder contents copied to host drives when dragging and dropping files from kali linux vm

Description

I have attached a video of the bug or whatsoever and managed to reproduce it like 3 times and as its mentioned in the summary it happened when i tried to drag and drop from vm to host, and after the copying started after calculating the files(110 GB the second time I tried), i cancelled copying and some files from appdata folder and the screenshots i wanted were copied to the host drive. thank you.

please view only 4.jpg I had to make one image out of all screenshots taken from the video due to file upload limit

hasa, I can't understand from your description what the exact problem is.

  • You tried to copy something.
  • The copying started and you cancelled it.
  • Some files still got copied.

Is that the problem? And can you post a link to the video? Because the pictures are not quite clear...

Which program did you used inside the guest for copying the data?

Why is it a Vbox problem if that program, when you cancel the copy process still transfered some amount of files already?
