I can't get past the boot menu with the installation of FreeBSD 7 on my AMD64 host.

Well, FreeBSD should work as guest with VT-x enabled. As there was no response to my second last comment I closed this ticket.

In that case you can continue at #3947 but allowing to run BSD without VT-x is currently a low priority because it is not that easy to fix and probably not worth the effort.

It's pretty frustrating to have bought the last generation of opteron before VT-X came out :-/. Seems there's lots I can't do.

Please reopen if this problem persists with the latest release (2.2.2). Decreasing priority as FreeBSD is not officially supported as guest (of course it should work anyway).
