Shared folders are not visible in old OS/2 and Ecomstation programs

Description
It's great that now the shared folders work on OS / 2 and Ecomstation.
Unfortunately there are old programs that do not list the files, I suppose to use DOS calls.

Closing this as duplicate of 19453 as Felix assumes this is the case and I don't quite understand what "old programs" are and how to test anything with them.

With the next vbox 6.1.x release DOS and WinOS2 programs should be able to see more files on windows hosts as we're now passing the 8.3 names thru from the host.
