Boot time for linux guest is about 50% slower on 6.1.2 compared to 5.2.34

Host : Windows 10 1903 (10.0.18362.535)

I have been using linux mint 19.2 installed on Virtualbox 5.2.34 for a while. I just recently upgraded virtualbox to the latest version 6.1.2.

The boot time on 5.2.34 is in average : 1.26 (1 minute and 26 seconds ) The boot time on 6.1.2 is in average : 2.13 (2 minutes and 13 seconds )

File Vbox_5.2.34.log.2.2 is a duplicate of Vbox_5.2.34.log.2 : I just don't know how to remove it from the ticket .

Can you attach the output of dmesg from inside the guest after it booted up for both runs? Maybe the timestamps show where the time is is spent.
