Unable to resize guest window with multi-monitor

Description
I have a multi monitor setup. There appears to be a bug when I resize the guest vm window if you have one monitor above the other.
My monitors are like this
MON1
MON2 MON3
If i resize the window on monitor 3 , no problem. If i resize the window on monitor 2, it will flicker, flash then instantly jump to monitor 1 and I will have to drag it back down to monitor 2 at which point it resizes itself again and I have to try to resize the window, going right back to the same problem.
I have tried re-arranging the monitors so they are side by side, and this problem goes away.
