Please compile help file with full-text search option turned on.

Still no idea how to resolve this properly. We are using hhc.exe to general the help file.

It is quite simple to resolve. Either use hhw.exe (HTML Help Workshop Project Manager), open project options and check the "Compile full-text search information" or directly open your .hhp file in a text editor and add "Full-text search=Yes" to the "Options" section.

This will be finally fixed in the next release. Don't think it as easy as suggested in the previous comment...

For every new VirtualBox release, I run hhw.exe (HTML Help GUI utility), choose File-Decompile, create a simplest .hhp file, add .html file list using "dir /b" and compile the project back, getting the same .chm file but with full-text search capability. It takes no more than 5-10 minutes. It is not easy, it is an easiest thing.
This bug also applies to Virtualbox version 2.1.0. I emailed about this btw....
