Description
Hi,
I'd like to report a bug relating to the VirtualBox and USB Network Gate software by Eltima/Electronic Team.
The below set of circumstances cause a BSOD in Windows 10. Tested on Win10 Pro 1909, 2004 and 20H2 updates on Intel and AMD CPUs and Lenovo and MSI hardware (available at the time of testing). Guest type did not seem to matter, they were not running or on some devices not even setup.
USBNetGate is installed VirtualBox is installed AND running (extension pack and no extension pack does not make a difference, different USB controller settings VMs do not make a difference) USB device is physically being plugged in - at this point machine will crash with blue screen.
Unplugging a device does not cause a crash. Unplugging or plugging in a device while VirtualBox is not running does not cause a crash Unplugging or plugging a device while VirtualBox is running and USBNetGate is not installed does not cause a crash.
It is unclear which software is the cause, it only happens with both active at the same time.
