VBox Hangs when trying to create VM with 2 CPUs using a Ubuntu cloud image

Description
I'm trying to create a VM with 2 vCPUs that boots from a (converted) Ubuntu cloud image. When I launch the machine, VirtualBox hangs and I have to reboot the host, which is a Ubuntu inux 20.04
