pasting from Linux to windows 7 VM via shared clipboard still crashes VM VB 6.1.24 6.1.24 r145751

Description

Copying text in linux host and pasting into a windows 7 VM crashes the VM.The first few pastes work, then they stop working, then the VM crashes without any messages. I've attached the log. This crashing started in a more recent VB version--6.1.20 or .22 and continued with testbuilds including 145697.

The same happened, more rarely, with 6.1.26. To check the most recent test build I copied the vboxsharedclipboard.so from 146688 to the /usr/lib/virtualbox folder. No problems so far using bidirectional copy and paste repeatedly, so maybe this bug is now fixed.

Hi matthewls,

Could you please try VirtualBox 6.1.28? We have improvements in shared clipboard area there. Both VBox and Additions update is necessary.
