Unable to get Virtualbox to run

I am receiving an error when I try to activate virtualbox. I am running windows 10. I am not an advanced user so I was not able to understand possible answers to the issue. I will need step by step instructions on how to correct the problem. The error is

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Gamez.

Not in a hypervisor partition (HVP=0) (VERR_NEM_NOT_AVAILABLE).

AMD-V is disabled in the BIOS (or by the host OS) (VERR_SVM_DISABLED).
