Can't install Guest Additions with 6.1.35-151866

I have a Windows 11 VM on Windows 10 host. When I try to install the current version of the GA, I see an error:

(1) ENTER: DriverPackageInstallW

(1) RETURN: DriverPackageInstallW (0xE0000247)

After that, installation fails. See the complete installation log for further details.

I'm getting very same error on newly installed Windows 10 ISO (Win10_21H2_EnglishInternational_x64.iso). Ticket #20628 mentions similar problem due to Certificate expired, but following steps described in tciket #20628 did not work.

Same. turning off signing let's the additions start, but the mouse driver still won't install. windows 7 vm

matthewls, can you specify what do you mean by turning off signing?

Uncle Google told me: "Windows includes a “Test Mode” or “Test Signing” Mode feature. Enable this mode and driver signature enforcement will be disabled until you choose to leave Test Mode." disable enforcement: bcdedit /set testsigning on

enable enforcement: bcdedit /set testsigning off

Please note that test builds are usually not signed, so at first sight it looks pretty much normal. VirtualBox 6.1.36 was just released. Please refer to https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads page.
