Description
After upgrading first my host machine's OS to Ventura, and then my VirtualBox to 7.0.4 (from Monterey and 6.1.40, respectively), I can no longer start any virtual machine normally, regardless of host OS, including newly-created VMs. Attempting to start one results in:
The virtual machine 'machine' has terminated unexpectedly during startup because of signal 9.
Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0X80004005) Component: MachineWrap Interface: IMachine {300763af-5d6b-46e6-aa96-273eac15538a}
The crash report, which notes "Exception Type: EXC_CRASH (SIGKILL (Code Signature Invalid))," is attached. As the host does not start, there is no data in the VBox.log. I can start any VM in headless mode successfully and connect to it via Remote Desktop.
