Description
When I launch a VM with
vboxmanage startvm <vm>
I get the VM's console an a small spurious window showing the hard drive_

The floating window with the hard drive icon from the VM window's status bar has also been reported by several users in the VirtualBox forums. Further details can be found in Strange icon floating around any Virtual Machine started.

This has been fixed in the source tree. The fix will be available in the 7.0.x release.

Assuming that VirtualBox 7.0.10 won't be released before 2023-07-18, do you have a (minimum) revision number just in case that somebody wants to try a test build?

Yes, the fix went into the 7.0 branch with revision 157092. Any 7.0.x build with a higher revision has the fix.
