Drag and Drop fails

Description
All Drag and Drop operations fail in either direction (guest to host and vice versa).
Host: antiX 23 (debian bookworm based)
Guest: antiX 17.5 (debian stretch based)
Same result on host antiX 22 (debian buster based)
First of all: The vboxclient needs to be started manually after guest is started up always. Obviously your guest additions ISO doesn't take care for a complete install.
Drag and drop actions are not recognised at all and also Copy and paste won't work before executing the following command:

The drag and drop in this example was done with simple plain text from a plain text editor (leafpad) on guest to a text editor (leafpad) on guest or vice versa.
I followed the instructions given at https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/DnDDebug to create the logfiles. The logfile on guest system exists but stays completely empty (zero bytes). Logfile from host attached.
