Description
Host kubunut 6.10, Virtual Box 1.3.8 Guest Win2000Pro, Guest additions 1.3.8
Sound is choppy, skipping then Win2000Pro freezes after about 30 seconds. Tried both ALSA and OSS audio drivers in Host.
Using Media player, playing mp3 files, or midi files. Also freezes playing MSN Video on Internet.

Retry with 1.5.0 please and reopen if it still happens.

Installed VirtualBox 1.5.0, installed 1.5.0 guest additions in Win2000Pro. Still have same problem, Win2000Pro freezes after about 20 seconds of playing audio. DirectX 7.0 is listed under Dxdiag.

Sound ok now with Virtualbox 1.5.2 and 1.5.2 additons. Can close bug report!

Same sound problem as Ticket #217, only with WinXPHome as Host. Virtual Box 1.3.8, guest additions 1.3.8 Win2000Pro as Guest, SP4 with all updates. Direct X 9.0c
Win2000Pro freezes after about 20 seconds of playing audio in Media player 9. Also freezes when playing DVD with Power DVD. Also freezes playing internet radio in IE6.
