Windows 2008 server and Windows 7 Pro boots and works well with version 6.1.38 of VirtualBox. But when I update VirtualBox drivers from version 6.1.38 to 6.1.48, Windows 2008 server and Windows 7 Pro crash at boot.

FWIW, your screenshots show a well-known issue that was solved with VirtualBox 6.1.50 and 7.0.14. Which VirtualBox version did you use when creating the screenshots?

Closing as a duplicate of #21875 which was resolved in the VirtualBox 6.1.50 GAs and the 7.0.14 GAs.
VirtualBox 6.1.48 is not new any more. Please try the current VirtualBox Guest Additions 6.1.50.
