Windows 11 guest cannot be updated to 23H2 since it freezes

Description
Looks like using window 11 in Virtualbox as a guest (Linux host) makes it impossible to update windows 11 to 23H2. Windows indicates the availability of the update, downloads it and starts installing it. However, through the install the guest OS invariably freezes in Virtualbox. What is strange is that everytime it seems to freeze at a different percentage.
