Save State stuck at 0% since recent update (Arch Linux, Vbox 7.0.16 upwards) => duplicate of #22059

Component: other Version: VirtualBox-7.0.18

Guest type: Linux Host type: other

Description

Applies to 7.0.18 as well! VM can't be snapshotted or saved, because saving state is stuck at 0%. The only fix is downgrading Virtualbox or VBox.

For more details please refer to the old ticket: https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/22059

Furthermore 7.0.14 runs a lot smoother than any version upwards. Seemingly, someone messed around with some core feature.

Logs are showing no indications of any components' misbehave.

Thank you!

I agree, the save does not work anymore after this upgrade. I am forced to end task on the machine from the host.
