Description
We observe a sporadic exception caused by switching external monitors in combination with putting the laptop to sleep / resuming from sleep. It is hard to tell what exactly is causing the exception, we don't have a reliable reproduction scenario. The problem occurs from time to time and leads to a crash of the running VMs and to an "access violation" error message shown.

I have the same issue when switching monitors to another computer, then switching back. It only started with 7.1.4, and still occurs after upgrading the VC Runtime to the latest version.

Oracle VirtualBox 7.1.4 switching monitors to another computer then switching back error
The first crash is inside VCRUNTIME140.DLL. Judging from the timestamp listed for the DLL, it could be a bit old. Updating it (and it's associates) to the latest version may help.
The latest version can be downloaded from Microsoft: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-160
