SUPER © (Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer) is a Windows application from http://www.erightsoft.com to encode some media files but it doesn't work on VirtualBox. Running VirtualBox 2.04 and the latest build of Super. Super crashes as soon as it is started: no GUI is opened before Windows sends a crash alert letting me send a crash report to MS.
Super works fine running in Parallels (both previous and latest versions).

Sorry, forgot to tell you that I'm running Windows XP Pro as guest and the host system is OS X 10.5.5

Got the same problem. Running VirtualBox 2.0.6 on Vista Home Premium SP1 Host, virtual guest with XP SP2. Install Super encoder/decoder is fine, as soon as running Super, virtualbox crash with critical error (power off or stay in, which hang).
Have the same setup with VirtualPC/VMWare workstation and Both runs normally.

Same problem here. Super@ crashes as soon as it's started. Running Vbox 2.1.4 (32bit) on Linux host, guest Win XP Pro SP2.

I've removed the last comment. Please use the attach button to attach files. Besides this, VBox 2.1.4 is very old and we don't intend to fix any bugs there anymore. Please check if the problem still exists in a current release, the latest is 3.0.8.

Frank - sorry, think you have this the wrong way round - I'm running 64bit Ubuntu 9.04 - with VirtualBox 3.0.10 installed. I have a /guest/ Windows XP Pro virtual PC that I'm trying to run SUPER(c) in which is not working.
