Full CPU utilization on host after hibernate wake in Vista

Description
With the fix proposed in ticket ticket:2212 VBoxSVC.exe consumes 100% cpu after wake up from hibernate. I had to apply the fix from the ticket because the VBoxSVC.exe which shipped with version 2.0.2 causes a memory leak due to some Vista bug.
The guest OS is Ubuntu hardy. I always suspend the VM before hibernation. The CPU utilization of the guest is approximately 5%. It is configured with 500 Mb RAM and 64 Mb Video Ram.

Is that while running a VM with VT-x or AMD-V enabled? If so, then this is a duplicate.
No it is disabled. An overview of the settings for an Ubuntu host:

VT-x/AMD-V | Disabled |
PAE/NX | Disabled |
Base memory | 512 MB |
Video memory | 64 MB |
VBoxGuestAdditions are installed and up to date.
