Description (last modified by )
Before r28093, Haiku used a descriptor size of 512 bytes in the VMDK sparse extent header. When using these images with VirtualBox, it would add UUID fields to the descriptor, and write over the end of it, enlarging the descriptor without updating the header, possibly corrupting the blocks after it.
