Description (last modified by )
When I copy a file from a local NTFS filesystem to a shared folder with underlying ext3fs, sometimes additionally to the file a second file with the appendix ":Zone.Identifier:$Data" is created. The content is useless, something like
[ZoneTransfer] ZoneId=3

Even though I followed the advice in a forum thread (http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4814&start=0&sid=4619e20fc3e88c9fcfc34fe225a91b49), the zone identifier files are still created.
Is it related to shared folders?
