Description
I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 on my work laptop. In VirtualBox 2.0.4 I run Windows XP SP3 as guest.
Every day when I go home I shut down my Windows XP guest, and on first start the next morning it ALWAYS crashes. Any subsequent starts works fine, even if it's shut down properly.
The logs show nothing on why this happens (see attached log-file).
I have been able to create a coredump now.

The core dump would be indeed very helpful. Please could you make this core dump somehow available (megaupload.com?) and send the address via private E-mail to frank _dot_ mehnert _at_ sun _dot_ com? Thank you!

If you're using shared folders, then upgrade the additions in your VM to 2.0.4 too.

I must have missed that when upgrading to 2.0.4, but I had the exact same problem with 2.0.2 - with the correct version of the guest additions.
