Description (last modified by )
I am using VirtualBox on an actual Xubuntu (8.04) with xfce desktop. VirtualBox is running a w2k client. Since the upgrade to 2.0.4 and also to 2.0.6 I have the problem that our application written with MS Access 97 is not useful any more on one computer. The other one is working without problems with the same os, application and VB 2.0.6.
The problem:
Nearly every time when I enter a textbox to insert some data in a Access-Form, the (Access) cursor in the textbox begins to flicker fast, the mouse cursor (inside w2k) changes in edit-mode (I), but is movable. VirtualBox, xfwm4 and Xorg eating up cpu nearly complete for some seconds to about one minute. When I hide the "window" of the guest to the linux taskbar during that freeze and rise it up again, all windows of the guest are black.
I have installed VBoxWindowsAdditions-x86.exe two times, changed networking from vhost to nat and the hd-controller from sata to ide - no change of the behavior.
Whe I go back to VirtualBox 2.0.2 all is ok.

So far no time to reproduce. Seems to be GUI-related.

After some research I found out, that it's happening only under Xfce. The same effect can be activated under Gnome by holding the left mouse button after the click. But the "freeze" under Gnome lasts only about one second...
It also may be that this bug is older because I changed to Xfce together with VB 2.0.4.
