Description
I've installed VirtualBox without USB support.
When opening the Preferences dialog I get this: "Could not load the Host USB Proxy Service (VERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND). The service might be not installed on the host computer. E_FAIL (0x000040005)" Even though there is a button "Do not show this message again" the message shouldn't be displayed at all since it was to be expected that this service wasn't installed.
And there is a typo in there as well, "might be not installed" should instead read "might not be installed".

I don't agree about the statement that the message shouldn't be displayed. The USB proxy is not available, this could be a problem of the installation, a bug or this could be expected. Once clicked with the checkbox set, the message will not appear anymore.
The typo was fixed long time ago, closing.

While I understand the technical issue behind it, isn't it a bit user-unfriendly to show an error regarding a missing component the user chose not to install?
OTOH, folks using a product like VirtualBox will probably understand what is going on and don't mind the error.
Personally, I didn't mind the error being shown. I just wanted to give my thoughts on it and was curious to see what UI design decisions were being made.
Minor annoyance. I'll correct the typo.
